About Ramadan.

The ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar is Ramadan. During the holy month of Ramadan, healthy adult Muslims fast from dawn till dark. This includes avoiding food, drink, immoral behaviour, and rage. During the holy month, it is also encouraged to engage in other forms of worship like prayer, reading the Quran, and charitable giving.

When Ramadan occurs ?

Because the Islamic calendar is based on lunar cycles, the precise dates of Ramadan vary every year. The holy month of Ramadan rotates by about 10 days every year since the Islamic calendar is based on the lunar cycle. The most recent details on the Ramadan.

What time does Ramadan begin?

When Shaban, the Islamic month, comes to a conclusion, Ramadan officially begins.

How long does Ramadan last?

The Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr officially signifies the end of Ramadan. The sighting of the Moon determines the precise timing. Shawwal, the first Islamic month, marks the beginning of Eid al Fitr.

What should I do if I forget to fast?

You will have to make a charitable kind of payment if you choose not to fast during any of the Ramadan days. You must pay Fidya if you have missed any fasts due to a pressing matter and are unable to make up the missed days (Fidyah). You must pay Kaffarah for any unnecessarily missed fasts.
