Uganda Qurbani 2026: Bringing Smiles to Thousands Through Your Generosity
As Qurbani begins here in Uganda, we are grateful to share the impact of your generosity. Alhamdullilah, and thanks to the support of We Care Relief Canada donors, we have received 84 cows, 12 sheep, and 11 goats for sacrifice and distribution to vulnerable families across the region.
These are your brothers and sisters in need—many of whom have not enjoyed meat for a very long time. This year, through your Qurbani, thousands of families will experience the joy and dignity of sharing a nutritious meal during Eid al-Adha.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to every donor who trusted We Care Relief Canada with their Qurbani donation. Your contributions are reaching the people who need them most and are being delivered directly to the intended beneficiaries.
Reaching More Than 5,000 People
With 84 cows, 12 sheep, and 11 goats, we expect to distribute approximately 10,000 kilograms of fresh meat. This will allow us to provide portions to more than 5,000 individuals throughout Uganda.
For many families, this distribution represents more than just a meal—it is a moment of relief, hope, and celebration.
